A neighbour’s shocking act of stealing electricity from a neighbouring house for five years has been exposed, with the incident quickly going viral on social media, according to Lambe Turah.
In a post shared online, the homeowner was seen conducting an inspection alongside representatives from PLN (the electricity supply company), who discovered an electrical connection leading directly to the neighbour’s house.
“My neighbour was caught stealing electricity from my house since April 2021, and it was only detected on June 15, 2026,” the victim wrote in the viral post.
According to the homeowner, PLN officers who arrived at the scene together with the local neighbourhood chief carried out a thorough investigation into the matter.
“After a detailed inspection by PLN, it was confirmed that electrical cables from my house had been drilled through the wall and connected directly to his home.
“Inside his house, there were also additional modifications designed to conceal the flow of electricity. That is why I never realised for the past five years that my electricity was being stolen,” the victim explained.
