Shouting and punches erupted inside the cabin of a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, sparking panic after an argument between two passengers escalated into a physical fight.
The flight was travelling from London to Bangladesh when the incident occurred on Wednesday, according to passenger Uddin Alim, who claimed he witnessed the confrontation.
In a Facebook post, Alim described the incident as frightening, particularly for children on board.
“The fight made the situation on the plane extremely frightening, especially for children. Imagine it happening in the air when you cannot get away from a dangerous situation,” he said.
A video of the incident that has since gone viral showed the two men arguing before exchanging punches. The T-shirt worn by one of the men was also torn during the scuffle.
Cabin crew members and several passengers eventually intervened and managed to break up the fight.
