Police Hunt Man After Alleged Sex Act On Ferris Wheel At Music Festival

Date:

Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man following an alleged indecent incident on a Ferris wheel during the Download Festival in Leicestershire, England.

According to Leicestershire Police, the incident allegedly took place on the evening of June 13, shortly before rock band Guns N’ Roses was due to perform.

Investigators said two individuals were reported to have been “acting inappropriately” while inside one of the Ferris wheel’s glass cabins.

Authorities confirmed that a woman linked to the incident has already been identified and voluntarily interviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police have now released an image of a shirtless man wearing sunglasses and camouflage shorts, urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.

The incident attracted widespread attention after videos recorded by festivalgoers circulated on social media.

One eyewitness said many people initially believed the pair were simply embracing while enjoying the view.

However, as the Ferris wheel descended, onlookers reportedly realised the pair were allegedly engaged in an indecent act, prompting many to film the incident.

The witness described the episode as unlike anything they had previously seen at the annual music festival, which attracts around 80,000 attendees each year.

Leicestershire Police continue to investigate the incident and have urged anyone with information about the unidentified man to contact the force.
