A Form Four student was reported dead after allegedly falling from the third floor of a secondary school building in Sendayan on Friday morning.
The incident is believed to have occurred at approximately 10am, shocking students, school staff and residents in the surrounding area.
Witnesses near the location said the atmosphere quickly turned chaotic as people gathered around the school shortly after the incident.
A resident in his 60s, whose home is located next to the school, said he became aware of the situation while returning home from Seremban.
“My house is right beside the school. I saw a large crowd gathering and later learned that a student had reportedly fallen,” he said when met at the scene.
Emergency responders were believed to have been called to the school following the incident.
However, the exact circumstances surrounding the fall have yet to be determined.
Authorities have launched an investigation to establish the cause of the incident and determine what led to the student’s death.
