A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a van that allegedly turned right against a red light at a traffic-light junction along Jalan Reko in Kajang on Tuesday.

The accident occurred at around 11am, leaving the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said preliminary investigations found that a white Toyota Hiace van had turned right while the traffic light was red.
