Three men were arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol during a road enforcement operation carried out at Jalan La Promenade, Kota Samarahan.
The Kota Samarahan District Police Headquarters (IPD Kota Samarahan) said the operation, known as Ops Mabuk, was conducted from 11pm on Thursday until 3am on Friday.
During the operation, police conducted breathalyser tests on four individuals, with three of them found to have tested positive for alcohol consumption while driving.
“Besides that, police also issued 20 summonses for various traffic offences,” IPD Kota Samarahan said in a statement shared on its social media page.
The operation was carried out as part of ongoing enforcement efforts to curb dangerous driving behaviour and ensure road safety among motorists.
