Two More Arrested In Penang Shopping Mall Slashing, Total Suspects Now Six

Police have arrested two additional men in connection with a violent slashing incident at a shopping mall along Jalan Kelawai, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to six.

Datuk Azizee Ismail confirmed that the two new detainees, both in their 20s, are assisting with ongoing investigations.

The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code.

Earlier, four other suspects aged between 29 and 40 were remanded for four to five days following the attack.

The incident occurred last Wednesday when a man was seriously injured after being slashed by an assailant, who then fled the scene on a motorcycle.
