Two siblings aged 15 and 18 were killed in a house fire in Kampung Koh, Sitiawan, on Friday morning.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Sayani Saidon said the department received an emergency call about the incident at 9.01am.
The fire involved two semi-detached two-storey houses, which were nearly 90 per cent destroyed, with the two victims trapped inside.
“Two victims were trapped inside the house,” he said.
The blaze also damaged four vehicles — two Proton Saga cars, a Proton Perdana and a motorcycle.
Sayani said firefighters were carrying out overhaul operations, with further updates to be provided as more information became available.
The department had also contacted its K9 special team to assist with the investigation.
