BN Promises Stable And Progressive Negeri Sembilan Administration

Barisan Nasional (BN) has pledged to form a government focused on the people’s needs following its victory in the Negeri Sembilan state election.

BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the election outcome showed that voters continued to support a moderate, stable and unity-driven political approach.

He said the victory was not only an achievement but also a responsibility that must be fulfilled with integrity, accountability and sincerity in serving all residents of Negeri Sembilan regardless of race, religion or background.

Zambry thanked voters for their confidence after BN secured 18 out of the 36 state seats contested in the election.

Together with its ally Perikatan Nasional (PN), which won seven seats, BN was able to secure a two-thirds majority in the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly.

He also expressed appreciation to BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, as well as leaders from MCA, MIC, Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah and the People’s Progressive Party for their support.

Zambry further thanked BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Negeri Sembilan Umno chairman Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias for their leadership and efforts in strengthening the party’s election machinery.

He said BN would continue promoting moderation, unity, good governance and policies aimed at ensuring Negeri Sembilan remains stable, progressive and prosperous.
