Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced special financial assistance of RM1,500 for 1.3 million civil servants in Grade 56 and below, including contract employees, under Budget 2027.
The government will also provide RM750 in special financial assistance to more than one million government pensioners, including eligible pensioned and non-pensioned veterans.
The payments are intended to provide additional financial support to civil servants and retirees amid rising living costs.
The measures form part of the government’s Budget 2027 initiatives to support public sector employees, pensioners and veterans.
