Trump has unveiled a special edition United States passport featuring his own portrait as part of the country’s 250th Independence anniversary celebrations, with the commemorative document set to be introduced next month.
The US President shared an image of the limited-edition passport on his Truth Social platform, accompanied by the message: “Welcome to the United States, but behave yourself!” The design quickly attracted attention online due to its prominent display of Trump’s likeness.
The commemorative passport features a serious portrait of Trump alongside his signature, with the background incorporating text from the United States Declaration of Independence. The opposite page showcases an illustration depicting the signing of the historic declaration in 1776, together with the words “United States of America 250”.
The special design forms part of the nationwide celebrations marking 250 years of American independence. Commemorative initiatives are often introduced during major national milestones to highlight historical events and strengthen national identity.
Previously, the US Department of State announced that the anniversary passport featuring exclusive artwork would be made available to the public beginning July 6. The limited-edition passport is expected to become a collector’s item among history enthusiasts and supporters.
According to a department official, the commemorative passport will only be issued through in-person appointments in Washington and will be available while stocks last. The limited release is intended to mark the historic anniversary of the United States’ founding.
