‘We May Hit Iran Even Harder Tonight’: Trump Threatens Fresh Military Attack On Iran

Date:

US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could launch another military strike against Iran on Wednesday night, following American attacks on Tehran in response to an incident involving a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

Speaking during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit in Ankara, Trump said further military action remained a strong possibility.

“We hit them very hard last night, very, very hard. We may hit them even harder tonight. I’ll give them a little warning. We’re going to hit them hard tonight,” Trump said.

His remarks came amid rapidly escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, raising concerns that the conflict could widen and further destabilise the Middle East. The latest developments have also fuelled fears of disruptions to global shipping routes and energy supplies passing through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, Trump declared that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Iran to end hostilities between the two countries was effectively no longer in force.

When asked whether the agreement had become invalid, Trump replied: “That’s a very interesting question for me. I think it’s over.”

The latest warning follows recent US military action against Iran and signals that Washington is prepared to intensify its response should tensions continue to escalate.
