Two men were arrested for allegedly engaging in indecent acts inside a car in a public area along Jalan Taman Intan Baiduri last Friday.
Sentul District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari, said the suspects, aged 29 and 24, were detained during a police check at 2 a.m.
Police officers patrolling the area noticed the two men behaving suspiciously inside a car. Upon further inspection, a tissue reportedly containing a liquid was found on the rear passenger floor. Checks on the suspects and the vehicle showed no prior criminal records.
The 29-year-old man admitted to performing the indecent act on the other man inside the car. Both men, who work as sales representatives, were taken to Jinjang Police Station for further action.
The two suspects were remanded for three days and have since been released on bail. The case is being investigated under Section 377A of the Penal Code.
