Malaysian Muay Thai Star Jojo Ghazali and Family Stranded in Mecca After Flight Cancellations

Date:

Malaysian Muay Thai sensation Johan Ghazali, popularly known as Jojo, and his family have been stranded in Mecca after their return flights were cancelled due to international airspace closures.

The update was shared on Facebook by Zack Rahim, who explained that the family, who had arrived in Madinah at the start of Ramadan, were scheduled to return home but faced last-minute flight cancellations.

According to Zack, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) called off all flights for the group amid multiple airspace closures for safety reasons, and no alternative dates have been provided so far.

“MAS has even advised that those who have not yet headed to the airport should remain at their accommodations until new flight schedules are announced,” he added.

Jojo and his family had been in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah during Ramadan.
