Parents of teenagers using Instagram and Messenger will now be able to view what their children have been asking Meta’s AI chatbot.
The new supervision feature displays the topics teens have queried over the past seven days and is currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and Brazil. It also extends to Facebook, although usage among teens on the platform is considered minimal.
The update builds on earlier safety tools designed to notify parents if repeated searches related to self-harm or other sensitive topics are detected, as part of broader efforts to enhance teen online safety.
