A shocking road accident in west London was caught on dashcam after a car overturned onto its roof moments after lightly clipping a parked vehicle along a residential street.
The incident involved a white Peugeot, which was seen veering towards a stationary SUV before striking its bumper and flipping upside down into the middle of the road.
The crash reportedly occurred on Hanworth Road in Hounslow on Sunday afternoon, with footage suggesting the vehicle may have been travelling above the speed limit.
Several motorists rushed to assist the female driver before emergency responders arrived at the scene.
Despite the dramatic impact, the woman escaped with no serious injuries and was later taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident quickly drew reactions from nearby residents and online users, with many expressing disbelief over how the vehicle overturned after what appeared to be a minor collision.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said firefighters responded to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.
“One person was rescued from the vehicle by firefighters and taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service,” the spokesperson said.
Emergency crews from Heston and Feltham fire stations were dispatched to the location shortly after receiving the first emergency call at 2.37pm on May 3.
Meanwhile, the London Ambulance Service confirmed that ambulance crews, a clinician in a response car, and members of its Hazardous Areas Response Team attended the scene.
The Metropolitan Police later confirmed the driver did not suffer life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
