Car Ends Up On House Roof After Skidding In Kuala Pilah Incident

A car lost control and plunged onto the roof of a house at the foot of a hill along Jalan Kampung Tanjung Bachang, Seri Menanti, last night.

Kuala Pilah District Police Chief, Superintendent Muhamad Mustafah Hussin, confirmed that no fatalities were reported in the 7.30pm incident.

He said the road accident involved a Perodua Axia which is believed to have skidded and crashed onto the roof of a house located below the hillside.

Preliminary investigations found that the driver was travelling from Seri Menanti towards Seremban at the time of the incident.

Upon reaching the location, the vehicle is believed to have lost control before veering off the road and landing on the house roof.

The front passenger and a rear passenger sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah in Kuala Pilah.

The 63-year-old driver and another rear passenger were not injured in the incident.

The case is being investigated under Regulation 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959, while further investigations are ongoing.
