Sentul police chief ACP Basri Sagoni said the incident occurred at about 8.24am on June 8 when a traffic officer issued a summons to the owner of a Proton Prevé for a traffic offence.

He said the suspect allegedly confronted the officer, recorded the interaction on his mobile phone and used abusive language while expressing dissatisfaction over the summons.

Following a police report, officers from the Sentul district police headquarters arrested the suspect at about 2.36am today at a business premises in Jalan Dato Senu, Kuala Lumpur.

Police also seized a mobile phone and SIM card believed to be linked to the incident for further investigation.
