Husband Of Minister Nancy Shukri Passes Away

The husband of Women, Family and Community Development Minister Nancy Shukri has passed away.

Datuk Kamil Misuari, a businessman from Sabah, died in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, according to a statement issued by Nancy’s office.

The statement said Kamil’s remains will be brought to Sarawak, where he will be laid to rest on Friday.

Members of the public who wish to pay their final respects may do so at Nancy’s residence in Taman Serira, Jalan Menggeris, Petra Jaya, Kuching, before the burial takes place at the Samariang Islamic Cemetery.

Nancy’s office also called on the public to pray for the late Kamil and expressed hopes that his soul would be placed among the faithful.

Kamil is survived by his wife and their three children, Faeroz, Farouk and Bibi.

Condolences have begun pouring in following news of his passing.
