Two houses in Kampung Desa Aman were affected after a landslide caused debris to collapse onto the kitchen areas of both residences yesterday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division assistant director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said his department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 6.09pm.
He said a team from the Sungai Buloh Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the location shortly after at 6.25pm to assess the situation.
“The incident did not involve any casualties, while the Royal Malaysia Police were also present at the scene,” he said in a statement today.
A total of six firefighters along with a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) vehicle were deployed to the location to carry out the operation.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation to ensure the affected area remains safe following the landslide.
