Motorists in Serang City, Banten, Indonesia, were left surprised after dozens of colourful chicks were seen wandering across a busy road following a traffic accident.
The incident reportedly occurred near the Kemang Public Cemetery (TPU Kemang).
A video shared on TikTok by user @totemtegar showed members of the public rushing to collect the chicks to prevent them from being run over by passing vehicles.
According to local reports, the chicks fell from a motorcycle after it was involved in an accident, leaving the young birds scattered across the roadway.
The video quickly went viral on social media, with many users reacting to the unusual scene.
“Hopefully there were no human casualties,” one netizen commented.
Another joked, “Some of them have already become ayam penyet.”
