Several motorcyclists were involved in a crash after allegedly racing each other in a road incident that has since gone viral on social media.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the district on Saturday night, although details on the exact location and whether anyone was seriously injured have not been confirmed.
A 20-second video circulating on Facebook showed a group of motorcyclists appearing to race along both sides of the road before several of them collided with one another.
The footage has drawn criticism from social media users, who said such behaviour not only puts the riders at risk but could also endanger other road users.
One Facebook user, Radzi Daud, appeared to mock the incident while criticising the riders for racing in large numbers.
“Wow… great… free show… so few motorcycles… even better when many fall. More exciting. Bring your parents along too,” he wrote.
Another user, Rasul Yee, expressed frustration over what he described as repeated warnings being ignored.
“Advice doesn’t work either. Let their friends be the ones to handle their funerals,” he commented.
As of the report, there was no confirmed information on the condition of those involved in the crash.
