A man in Yulin, Guangxi, China, was left stunned after discovering a dark, slender object resembling a gecko in a bowl of prepared instant noodles.
The man, identified as Liu, shared a video online showing the suspicious object in a bowl of Master Kong’s pickled cabbage beef noodles.
Speaking to Metropolitan Express reporters on October 7, Liu said he had not carefully inspected the noodles or seasoning packets while opening the packaging and preparing the meal.
It was only after pouring boiling water into the bowl and lifting the lid to eat that he noticed the unusual object.
Liu said he had not taken a single bite before discovering the object and subsequently threw the noodles away.
