Budget 2027: JPA Scholarships To Benefit 4,200 Sabah And Sarawak-Born Individuals Annually

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced scholarship opportunities under the Public Service Department (JPA) for individuals born in Sabah and Sarawak as part of Budget 2027.

The initiative will provide opportunities for 4,200 people annually to further their studies, according to the Budget 2027 materials.

The programme aims to expand access to higher education for individuals born in the two East Malaysian states, giving more eligible candidates the opportunity to pursue further studies.

The announcement was made alongside other Budget 2027 measures concerning Sabah and Sarawak, including increased federal allocations for both states.
