Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced an increase in the FlySiswa MADANI 2027 assistance from RM400 to RM500 under Budget 2027.
The initiative is expected to ease travel expenses for more than 60,000 students from public universities, polytechnics and community colleges.
The higher assistance aims to reduce the financial burden on students who need to travel, particularly those studying away from their hometowns.
The increase forms part of the government’s Budget 2027 measures to support students and help ease the cost of pursuing higher education.
