Influencer Accused Of Cheating With 21 Women Offers Ex-Girlfriend RM300,000 And One Year’s Rent

A Chinese social media influencer with more than one million followers has been accused by his girlfriend of four years of having inappropriate relationships or exchanging explicit messages with as many as 21 women during their relationship.

The influencer, known as “Le Zai Levi”, was publicly called out by his girlfriend, nicknamed Xixi, in a post published late on Oct 27. She shared screenshots of private conversations, money transfers and a list of women allegedly involved.

Levi later issued an apology, admitting that he had betrayed the relationship but disputing the claim that he had been involved with 21 women. He also proposed paying her 500,000 yuan (approximately RM300,000) in compensation.

According to reports by Chinese media, the couple began dating in 2022 and lived together in Hangzhou. Xixi said she supported Levi’s daily life and helped build his social media career by editing videos, joining outdoor shoots and managing his team.

She claimed that she first discovered Levi’s inappropriate relationship with a woman living upstairs from their apartment in August 2024. He reportedly apologised and promised to change, leading her to forgive him.

However, in October this year, Levi’s parents travelled to Hangzhou as both families were preparing to meet and discuss marriage plans.

Xixi said she subsequently checked his phone and discovered intimate conversations and financial transactions involving another six women. She then reviewed records from previous years and alleged that the total number of women involved had reached 21.

She also revealed that the prolonged emotional strain had caused her to experience depression and anxiety symptoms, requiring medication.

In response, Levi acknowledged making serious mistakes in the relationship but insisted that the figure of 21 women was exaggerated. He claimed some of the women had only communicated with him online and that he had never met them in person.

As part of his proposed compensation package, he offered to pay Xixi 500,000 yuan in instalments due to transfer limits.

He also pledged to cover her rent for the next year, amounting to about 28,500 yuan (approximately RM17,000) a month, and provide an additional 25,000 yuan (approximately RM15,000) in monthly living expenses for at least six months.

Levi said money could not make up for the hurt he had caused and hoped the remaining issues could be resolved through private discussions.

However, the dispute later expanded into a disagreement over their finances during the relationship.

Levi claimed that since 2024, he had spent more than three million yuan (approximately RM1.8 million) on Xixi, including luxury purchases, living expenses and money transfers. He also said he had previously given her 200,000 yuan (approximately RM120,000) when they broke up.

Xixi disputed his account, arguing that the amount included shared household expenses and gifts for special occasions, rather than money she had personally received.

She also questioned whether the proposed 500,000-yuan compensation was intended to make her remain silent and even said she was willing to return the money.

Levi further claimed that the pair had argued over reconciliation and marriage after their breakup.

As of Oct 30, neither side had reached a clear resolution over the financial dispute. There was also insufficient independent evidence to establish that all 21 women had engaged in physical affairs with Levi, despite Xixi’s allegations.
