The iconic wrapper of China’s famous White Rabbit Candy has gone viral on social media, with thousands of overseas users praising its timeless design and calling it a masterpiece of graphic art.
The discussion began after an X user known as “weeabob” shared photos of the classic blue, white and red candy wrapper alongside the sweet itself, describing the packaging as “one of the greatest examples of graphic design.”

The post quickly gained massive attention, attracting more than four million views and 170,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
Many users agreed that the wrapper’s bold colours, simple layout and memorable rabbit logo make it an iconic piece of packaging design that has stood the test of time.
Some users also shared photos of White Rabbit-themed T-shirts and even tattoos inspired by the candy’s famous branding.

Others admitted they were surprised to learn that the thin translucent layer wrapped around each sweet is edible rice paper, with some saying they had previously mistaken it for plastic and removed it before eating the candy.
Fans who had previously tried White Rabbit Candy encouraged others to taste it, describing it as one of China’s most memorable sweets.
The viral discussion also sparked interest in other classic Chinese product packaging, with users sharing vintage wrappers from traditional candies, beverages and liquor brands that they believe deserve similar recognition.
White Rabbit Candy’s edible rice paper is primarily made from starch and is designed to prevent the candy from sticking to the outer wrapper while helping protect it from moisture.
