24-Year-Old Man Missing in Karak, Second Case Reported in Two Weeks

A 24-year-old man has been reported missing after failing to return to his home in Kampung Baru, Karak, since November 17, marking the second disappearance reported in the district within two weeks.

Bentong district police chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said a missing person report was lodged around noon yesterday concerning the disappearance of P. Thivagaran.

According to the report filed by his younger brother, Thivagaran was last seen leaving for work at a plantation in Sertik on November 17 but did not return home later that day.

Thivagaran is described as approximately 178cm tall, weighing around 75kg, dark-skinned, and slim. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.

Superintendent Zaiham urged members of the public with any information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Bentong district police headquarters at 09-2231999 or to reach out to the nearest police station.

On November 18, a separate missing person case was reported involving Orang Asli villager Rosli Aman, 41, who was last seen at a rubber plantation in Kampung Sungai Gapoi, Telemong, on November 12.
