Angry Motorcyclist Smashes Restaurant Glass Arrested By Police

Police have arrested a man after a video showing him vandalising a restaurant in Pengkalan Chepa went viral.

Kota Baru police chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Rosdi Daud, said a 25-year-old eatery owner filed a report on Sept 15 at 7.20pm, claiming a man had smashed the glass display cabinet at his restaurant in Kampung Landak.

The suspect, reportedly angered after his motorcycle was blocked by the victim’s car, used a helmet to break the glass cabinet. A video of the incident, uploaded by a Facebook user named “Imran Bard,” went viral the next day.

Following the report, police arrested the 36-year-old suspect around 1am. The case has been classified as mischief, and the suspect will be remanded soon.
