A cement truck driver went through a terrifying ordeal after becoming trapped when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a toll plaza at Bukit Kajang today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 1.06pm.
According to him, a team from the Kajang Fire and Rescue Station was rushed to the scene and arrived about nine minutes later.
“The operations commander reported that the accident involved a cement truck crashing into a toll plaza.
“There was one 36-year-old victim trapped in the driver’s seat and rescue operations to extricate the victim are ongoing,” he said in a statement today.
