A food delivery rider’s attempt to show off with a dangerous motorcycle stunt ended in embarrassment and a crash after he lost control of his bike moments after setting off for a delivery.
The incident reportedly happened recently along a road outside Queensbay Mall and was captured on a dashcam by a vehicle travelling behind him.
The video, which was later uploaded to the Penangkini Facebook page, quickly went viral and sparked widespread reactions online.
According to the footage, the rider had initially stopped by the roadside before checking traffic conditions behind him.
After noticing nearby vehicles slowing down, he proceeded to ride off to continue his delivery route.
However, just seconds later, the rider suddenly attempted a “wheelie” stunt by lifting the front wheel of the motorcycle off the ground.
The stunt quickly went wrong when he lost balance and was thrown off the motorcycle, landing hard on the road.
His motorcycle then continued moving uncontrollably before crashing into a vehicle parked nearby.
The dramatic accident immediately drew reactions from social media users, many of whom mocked the failed stunt attempt.
Several commenters joked that the rider ended up “injured, embarrassed and forced to pay compensation” all at once.
Others speculated that the rider could potentially face traffic summonses in addition to covering the damage caused to the parked car.
One netizen sarcastically wrote: “Life gave you a chance, but you wasted it and flipped over instantly.”
The viral clip has since attracted massive viewership and online discussion, with many users warning against performing dangerous stunts on public roads just for attention or entertainment.
