Neighbours Hear Victim Singing Moments Before Brutal 10-Stab Killing!

Date:

A 30-year-old woman has been taken into police custody following the gruesome discovery of her elderly husband’s body in their Bangkok residence early Saturday morning. Officers from the Bang Khun Non Police, accompanied by forensic experts and emergency responders, arrived at the two-storey house in Soi Charan Sanit Wong 19 at approximately 4.30 am on 28 March to find a scene of extreme violence.

Inside a bedroom, authorities discovered the victim, identified as 63-year-old Mr Thawatchai, lying in a pool of blood next to his bed. Medical examinations revealed that the man had suffered more than 10 stab wounds across his body, and a foot-long kitchen knife was recovered by investigators at the scene to be used as evidence.

The victim’s wife, Ms Thongprakai, was apprehended at the property by the police, who noted that she appeared to be heavily intoxicated. Due to her state of inebriation, she was reportedly unable to provide a coherent statement or explain the events leading up to the tragedy at the time of her arrest.

According to statements from neighbours, the suspect was seen attempting to enter the premises at around 3 am but found herself locked out of the property. In a fit of rage, she allegedly smashed the doorbell and scaled the perimeter fence before forcibly breaking through a secondary door to gain access to the interior of the home.

Witnesses in the area recalled hearing Mr Thawatchai singing inside the house twice during the night before the residence fell into an eerie silence. Following the investigation at the scene, the victim’s remains were transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Siriraj Hospital for a post-mortem examination before being released to his family for funeral arrangements.
