A video showing a motorcyclist riding recklessly along the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Highway (DASH) has gone viral on Facebook, raising concerns among road users.
The incident reportedly took place before the Denai Alam toll plaza yesterday, where the rider was seen swerving unpredictably across multiple lanes. Several motorists were forced to reduce speed and maintain distance to avoid a potential collision.
The 42-second clip also shows traffic slowing down significantly as drivers attempted to steer clear of the motorcycle to prevent any accident on the busy highway.
The rider’s erratic behaviour has sparked speculation online, with some social media users suggesting that he may have been under the influence of substances.
One user, @MohdFaizalAnuar, commented that the rider appeared intoxicated and described the behaviour as dangerous to other road users.
However, another user, @AbRahmanMahmood, offered a different view, suggesting the rider could be facing mental health issues and urging authorities to intervene.
He added that if left unaddressed, the situation could pose a serious risk to public safety.
