A woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition after falling from a high floor of a public housing building in Linkou District on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened at a social housing complex located along Section 2 of Ren’ai Road.
According to reports, the woman is believed to have fallen from around the 20th floor of the building.
Emergency responders arriving at the scene found the victim suffering from multiple severe fractures across her body.
Fire and rescue personnel immediately performed CPR before rushing her to Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment.
Authorities have yet to confirm the woman’s identity or determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fall.
Police said investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the incident.
