A woman was found dead with 20 stab wounds in Medan after she was allegedly killed by her 12-year-old daughter, Indonesian media reported.
According to Tribunnews, the incident occurred on Wednesday at Jalan Dwikora, Tanjung Rejo, after the girl became upset that her mother had scolded her older sister. The suspect is the younger of two siblings.
The victim was discovered lying motionless on her bed at around 5am by her eldest child, who immediately alerted their father. He later contacted the police.
Medan police confirmed the case, identifying the victim’s 12-year-old daughter as the prime suspect in the murder.
