Boy Appears In Dream Saying “I Did Not Drown”, Allegedly Pointing To Someone

Date:

A 7-year-old boy who was found dead in a pond in a sugarcane field in Ban Nong Ka Non Simma, Ban Chan Subdistrict, Ban Dung District, Udon Thani Province, reportedly became the subject of emotional claims after some individuals said he appeared in a dream stating he did not drown and pointing towards someone.

The child, identified as Natthiw, had been missing for several days before his body was discovered on April 26, 2026. His death has drawn public attention and speculation over the actual cause, with an autopsy underway to determine the circumstances.

The boy’s stepfather, Mr. Pramual, 44, has strongly denied any suggestion of foul play, insisting that he was not present at the scene when the body was found as he had taken his wife to hospital after she fainted. He said he only learned about the discovery from rescue workers.

Mr. Pramual said he had asked about the condition of the body and possible time of death due to its swollen appearance, but maintained he believes the child drowned accidentally. He also questioned reports suggesting he was at the scene, stressing that he was at the hospital at the time.

He further dismissed allegations of murder, arguing there was no clear motive for such an act and suggesting the child may have wandered off following a dog or while searching for food in the area.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old volunteer rescuer claimed he also had a dream in which a young voice said, “Help me, I didn’t drown,” though he said he could not identify who was shown in the dream.

Authorities continue to investigate the case to establish the exact cause of death.
