Malaysia Seeks Extradition of 1MDB Figure Tim Leissner

Malaysia has formally sought the extradition of former Goldman Sachs executive Tim Leissner, the Attorney-General’s Chamber (AGC) confirmed.

The government has been pursuing Leissner for over a year, aiming to bring him back to Malaysia to face trial in connection with his involvement in the 1MDB scandal.

The AGC emphasized that Leissner is considered a key figure in the high-profile financial case, which has drawn international attention.
