A man was injured after being stabbed while working at the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market on Saturday.
The victim, in his 30s, was reportedly attacked with a sharp metal object by an unidentified suspect at about 8.40am.
Sentul acting district police chief Superintendent Jasni Zolpa said the victim sustained injuries and was taken to Selayang Hospital for further treatment.
“The victim is reported to be in stable condition and remains under treatment at the hospital.
“A police report was lodged at 1.30pm on Sunday by the victim’s friend,” he said in a statement.
Jasni said police were conducting further investigations to identify the suspect and establish the motive behind the attack.
“Efforts to track down the suspect are ongoing, while investigations are continuing to determine the cause of the incident,” he said.
