Three Kiosks Destroyed In Early Morning Fire At Petaling Street

A fire broke out in the early hours of the morning, destroying three kiosks at Petaling Street Market along Jalan Hang Lekir, Kuala Lumpur.

The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Centre received an emergency call at 12.21am before dispatching personnel from Hang Tuah Fire Station, assisted by teams from Pudu and Titiwangsa stations.

According to Kuala Lumpur JBPM Operations Commander Logeswaran Lavan, the blaze involved three kiosks which were completely destroyed in the incident.

He confirmed that no casualties were reported in the fire.

The cause of the fire and the estimated losses are still under investigation.
