Six Men Plead Guilty To Assaulting Man Outside Hair Salon In Kuala Krai

Six men pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court in Kuala Krai on Thursday to a charge of voluntarily causing hurt to a man outside a hair salon earlier this week.

The accused were Mohamad Arif Razemin, 26; Muhammad Faez Hakimi Zaiddi, 34; Mohammad Nazri Samsuddin, 34; Zulkarnain Mohamed, 51; Wan Zameri Wan Omar, 44; and Zulkifli Che Mood, 56.

They entered their guilty pleas after the charge was read before Magistrate Rais Imran Hamid.

According to the charge, the six men, acting with a common intention, voluntarily caused hurt to Kua Wei Chiang, 28, at about 3.40pm outside Hair Style Up Saloon in Krai Sentral Park, Kuala Krai, on July 27.

They were charged under Section 323 of the Penal Code, read together with Section 34 of the Penal Code, which provides for a maximum sentence of one year’s imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.

The court allowed each accused bail of RM5,000 and fixed Aug 4 for the next mention of the case.
