Kim Soo Hyun Thanks Fans And Authorities After Year-Long Controversy

Date:

Kim Soo Hyun has issued an official statement expressing gratitude to investigative authorities and fans who stood by him, one year after holding an emotional press conference over multiple allegations linked to him.

On May 27 (KST), his agency Gold Medalist released a statement addressing the ongoing controversy, including accusations, alleged evidence, and several legal complaints.

The agency claimed that KakaoTalk messages previously made public and allegedly linked to the late Kim Sae Ron were found to be manipulated conversations involving a third party unrelated to Kim Soo Hyun.

It also alleged that certain audio recordings attributed to the actress were fabricated using artificial intelligence technology.

According to the statement, the severity of the case led the court to issue arrest warrants against individuals involved, citing offences including defamation, stalking-related crimes, illegal distribution of filmed materials, coercion, and threats.

The agency said it is grateful to investigative authorities for uncovering what it described as the truth based on objective evidence.

It also reflected on Kim Soo Hyun’s emotional press conference a year ago, when he said he would prove his innocence rather than ask for public trust.

“The past year was devoted entirely to keeping that promise,” the agency said, adding that the truth has now been established through legal procedures and investigations.

The statement concluded by thanking supporters who believed in and waited for Kim Soo Hyun throughout the controversy.
