Illegal Massage Parlour In Seremban Raided, Premises Ordered To Shut Down

A massage parlour operating at Kepayang Sentral in Seremban was ordered to shut down after enforcement officers discovered multiple offences during an integrated operation carried out by the local council and police.

The operation, which began at 2.30am and continued until 5.30pm yesterday, was conducted by the Enforcement and Legal Department of the Majlis Bandaraya Seremban together with the Polis Diraja Malaysia.

Authorities inspected several locations including Kepayang Sentral, Taman Bukit Kepayang and the Oakland Commercial Centre in Seremban 2 as part of a crackdown on massage business premises.

According to MBS, checks at a premises located along Jalan KS 3, Kepayang Sentral found that the business was operating without a valid licence. Officers also discovered advertisements displayed without approval from the local authority.

As a result, two compounds were issued involving offences under regulations related to massage parlour operations and advertising laws. The premises was also ordered to close until official approval is obtained from MBS.

Among the items seized during the raid were three facial steamer machines, one facial treatment machine, a basket containing 13 towels and a massage bed.

The local council stressed that enforcement operations will continue from time to time to ensure businesses comply with licensing rules and local authority regulations.
