MetMalaysia Issues Severe Continuous Rain Warning for Parts of Sabah

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued severe and alert-level continuous rain warnings affecting multiple districts across Sabah.

MetMalaysia director-general Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip said a severe-level warning is currently in place for Beluran in Sandakan, as well as Kota Marudu and Pitas in Kudat.

Meanwhile, an alert-level warning has been issued for Ranau and Kota Belud in the West Coast division, Telupid and Sandakan in Sandakan division, and parts of Kudat.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions amid the ongoing wet weather conditions.
