Foreign Woman Arrested After Man Found Dead In Klang Residence

Police have arrested a foreign woman to assist investigations into the discovery of a man’s body at a residential unit in Pelangi Promenade, Klang, yesterday afternoon.

Klang Utara District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner S Vijaya Rao, said authorities received a report regarding the incident at about 3.15pm.

Following the report, a woman in her 30s, believed to be a foreign national, was detained at the scene to assist with investigations, he added.

Preliminary findings suggest that the incident may have stemmed from a misunderstanding between the victim and the suspect. The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

Police said investigations are still ongoing and have urged the public not to circulate any unverified speculation that could affect the probe.
