Manhunt Launched After Girl Allegedly Molested At Business Premises

Police are searching for a foreign man suspected of molesting an 11-year-old girl at a business premises in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, on Wednesday (July 29).

Sungai Buloh police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said the authorities received a report regarding the incident from the Kampung Baru Subang police station.

He said police are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect, with the case being investigated under Section 14(A) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

Mohd Hafiz urged members of the public with any information related to the case to contact the investigation officer, Insp Muhammad Amirul Amin Shukor, at 013-6695290 or the nearest police station.

The case gained public attention after a video circulated widely on social media showing two young girls being approached by a man at a retail store, before the suspect allegedly committed an indecent act against one of them.

The incident drew widespread concern from the public, with many urging authorities to take firm action against the individual involved.

Police have reminded the public not to spread unverified information and to allow investigations to proceed while efforts continue to locate the suspect.
