In Peninsular Malaysia, affected areas include Kemaman in Terengganu as well as several districts in Pahang such as Bentong, Maran, Kuantan, Bera and Pekan.

MetMalaysia also said that heavy rain is expected in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, as unstable weather conditions persist across the region.

In Sarawak, the warning covers multiple divisions including Kuching, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang, with several districts expected to experience prolonged downpours.

Meanwhile in Sabah, thunderstorms are forecast for the Interior, West Coast, Tawau and Sandakan areas, including major towns such as Kota Kinabalu, Ranau, Papar and Lahad Datu.

Authorities have advised the public to remain cautious, as heavy rain and thunderstorms may lead to flash floods, strong winds and disrupted travel conditions.
